By accessing or using Plan My Backpack, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
You must provide a valid email address and create a password to use Plan My Backpack. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
You retain ownership of the content you create on Plan My Backpack, including backpacks, gear lists, and images. By posting content, you grant Plan My Backpack a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and promote your content as part of the service (e.g., in trending lists, community gear pages, and articles).
You agree not to upload or post content that:
We reserve the right to remove content that violates these terms and to suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly violate them.
Backpacks created on Plan My Backpack are publicly viewable by default. Other users can view, like, and reference your backpack data. Your email address is never shared publicly.
Plan My Backpack may display product links that include affiliate tracking parameters. When you click these links and make a purchase, Plan My Backpack may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. Affiliate relationships do not influence gear rankings or community data.
The Plan My Backpack service, including its design, features, and original content, is owned by Plan My Backpack and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or reverse-engineer any part of the service.
Plan My Backpack is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. Gear data, weights, and recommendations displayed on the platform are user-generated and should be independently verified before making purchasing or safety decisions.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Plan My Backpack shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to use the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Plan My Backpack from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the service or violation of these terms.
We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately, and we may delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting a notice on the site. Continued use of Plan My Backpack after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
